STUDENTS: Remember PARCC? The assessment you took last year? Your PARCC assessment results are ready for pick up in the Student Services Office (Rm B102) . They are alphabetized on top of a table outside Dr. Alvarez's office. Please pick up your reports any time between September 20th, 2016 and next Friday, September 30th, 2016.

STUDENTS:  Homecoming tickets are on sale this week for $20. Get your tickets now because they will be $25 next week and $30 at the door. Get your tickets in the bookstore and remember you must have your ID.

STUDENTS:  A dental clinic will be available on September 30 here at Maine West.  The services include exam, cleaning and fluoride treatment.  If interested, please see the nurse.

SENIOR GIRLS:  Powderpuff practice will take place after school Thursday.  We will meet by the varsity softball field.

MAINE WEST YOUTH GROUP:  The Maine West Youth Group meets every Friday at 7:00 am in R207. A great way to start your day with prayer and worship.  Come to the Maine West Youth Group. There will be donuts.

POKEMON GO CLUB:  Next Pokemon Club meeting is Friday in A204 right after school.

VARSITY CLUB MEMBERS:  We are meeting tomorrow at 7:15 am in Spec Gym. We will also be taking our Yearbook picture at this meeting.

FASHION & COSMETOLOGY CLUB:  Are you going to homecoming and looking for a new way to do your eye makeup? Come join us at the Fashion & Cosmetology Club meeting today in C108 after school. We will be demonstrating and practicing different eye makeup looks and techniques that will be perfect for homecoming. Please bring your own eyeshadow palettes and brushes.

TRIVIAL PURSUIT FANS:  If you like answering trivia questions, if you think you could make it to the final round in Jeopardy, you may want to join Scholastic Bowl. We practice every Monday and we compete against other schools by answering trivia questions. The best part, of course, is we have buzzers. Come to our first practice, Monday, September 26 after school in room H110.

STUDENTS:  Do you consider yourself a Democrat? Do you want to get involved in this election but you don't know how? Come to the first meeting of the Young Democrats this Tuesday, September 27 right after school in C208. You don't have to be old enough to vote in order to make a difference! All students and teachers welcome.
