SENIORS:  Please check your email today so you can nominate this year's Homecoming Court. Nominations will be today only and the homecoming court will be announced on Monday.

FRESHMEN:  Come get involved in your school and class. Freshman class council meets Tuesday, September 13 at 7:10 am in room D113.

JUNIORS:  Junior class council will meet Tuesday morning at 7:10 am in A114. If you want to have a job that makes a difference in this world, we will see you there.

STUDENTS: Seniors with a parking tag have the opportunity to reserve and paint their own parking spot. The cost is $25. There is a limited number of parking spaces available.  Applications and more information is available in the bookstore or the main office. Starting Monday, Sophomores and Juniors with a parking tag will have the opportunity to purchase a spot.  Leave your mark on Maine West's Parking Lot.

STUDENTS: The blood drive is going on today in B-wing gym. Stop down and give your time to help those in need. Sixteen year olds, don't forget to bring your permission slip. Lets make this blood drive a success Maine West by donating blood today.

AFRICAN-AMERICAN CLUB: It's Back, the African-American Club. New and Improved. The Dream Team African-American Club will be meeting on Monday, September 12 at 3:20 pm in R201 across from the Auditorium. Be ready to do fun activities and get this club off the ground. We need to make our presence known for this year's Wild West Homecoming. Questions come see Ms. Adams or Ms. Pantke in the counseling office.

FRENCH CLUB:  French Club will have its first meeting Tuesday, September 13 after school in A212. You do not have to be enrolled in French to participate.  All students interested in French speaking culture, movies, food and more are welcome.  Please contact Ms. Cobb with questions.

The Maine West Boys Golf team lost a close match to the Vernon Hill Cougars Wednesday. Leading the team was Sophomore Luke Rothweiler with a 40, Jr. Chase Stephen a 44, Sr Shane Ronan with a 44 and Jr. Matty Mustari with a 45. The team now has a record of 7 and 6.
