CONGRATULATIONS:  Both the JV and varsity boys water polo hosted Highland Park teams on Thursday, April 7 and came out victorious in both contests. JV won by a score of 11 - 4 and varsity won by a score of 13 - 3.

STUDENTS: We are quickly approaching our final blood drive. It will take place on Friday, April 15th in A wing gym.  Our goal is to get 120 units of blood! This is any easy goal for Maine West students and staff to achieve but we need your help. Please stop by the cafeteria to sign up during your free period. You must be 16 years old to donate. If you have any questions please stop and ask!  Remember when you take the time to donate blood, you can help save 3 lives! We can do it Maine West, Let's help save another life!

STUDENTS: This year's spring play, "Arabian Nights" opens soon. This innovative approach to storytelling fuses movement, music and poetry to produce a one of a kind audience experience. Performances run April 14 at 4pm and April 15th and 16th at 7pm in the Auditorium. Tickets are sold at the door and cost $5 Students and $7 for Adults.

STUDENTS: If you are interested in becoming a lifeguard, check out the introductory American Red Cross Lifeguard class. The class will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30 pm in the pool. Successful completion of the course will earn participants a Lifeguard Certification. For more details, enter keyword lifeguard on the MW website.

STUDENTS: Get ready for FIFA sixteen video game tournament Friday April 15th in the student cafeteria. Sign Up on Wednesday the 13th in front of the cafe. $7.00 for the chance to be the best.
Proceeds go to the School Wide Fundraiser.

SOPHOMORES AND JUNIORS:   Would YOU like to attend the Presidential Inauguration, explore the Smithsonian, see the monuments and experience the rich history of Washington D.C. in January 2017? Come to Mr. Fouts's room C212 and pick up an official invitation packet for this historic opportunity. There is an informational parent meeting about this trip on Thursday, April 14th in L101 at 5:00 pm.

JUNIORS: Junior prom tickets are on sale for $35 in the bookstore and $40 at the door.
