CONGRATULATIONS: The math team competed at Regionals on Saturday with some great results. Our freshmen team finished in first place. They were led by Daniel Jeong, who finished in 2nd place individually, and the team also includes Veronica Kleinschmidt, Dylan Maricola, Davis Parks, and Danica Roque. Sophomore Bhagirath Mehta finished in 2nd place for the Geometry contest, and Bhagirath and Haripriya Mehta dominated the Jr-Sr 2-person contest taking home first place medals. Way to go Math Team!

STUDENTS: Any student interested in signing up for summer school driver education can still do so in the main office. Registration closes March 4th. Classes fill quickly. There is an am and pm session available.

STUDENTS: Sign up for the "Teaching the Young Child" summer school internship. Gain hands on experience while working on site at an elementary or middle school. You can choose your grade level and subject preference. There is a limited amount of spots, so please don't delay. If you have any questions please email or stop and see Mrs. Archer in D120.

STUDENTS: Do you have what it takes to be a model? Come to our Maine West Model search this Thursday, March 3 after school in the Little Theater (L101) where you will be auditioning to model either a tuxedo or prom dress in the Maine West fashion show.

FRESHMAN BOYS BASEBALL: Try-outs are TODAY AND TOMORROW. Make sure your physical is up to date, and if you played a sport at Maine West, register online through the athletic office. You need to be eligible to try-out. Any questions, see coach Aguirre in B-209.

: There will be a meeting Wednesday after school or Thursday before school to plan for the International Festival in April. Please attend one of the meetings.

ASIAN CLUB: Calling all anime fans, kpop fans or people who just love eating Asian food. Asian Club will be meeting TOMORROW after school in Room C217. We will be watching anime, eating ramen and making Chinese paper lanterns.

IT'S A STITCH: It's a stitch will meet on Wednesday after school.

KEY CLUB: Key club will be voting for officers on Friday morning at 7:00 am in room L101.

The US Marines will be here during 6th and 7th periods today. Also, St. Augustine College will be here during 6th period. Seniors, don't forget that Thursdays are Financial Aid Days in the CRC. Come in to ask questions about your FAFSA and paying for college.
